CD Project Red’s upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release next month on November 19th, 2020. And has gone Gold, this comes with an official twitter announcement.

This means CD Project Red’s Cyberpunk 2020 is ready for printing and distribution meeting its deadline for the release.

“Gold” is a term seemingly used by all the AAA game developers whereas the final version of the game is completed and can be played from a disk. These are shown off with the golden disk from which the full game can be played.

This isn’t any kind of official certification that makes the game any great. It has just been the way of game developers announcing that the final game has been ready – And is going for mass printing.

This announcement comes after the slightly not official release of the full map of Night City.

Although, gamers getting the disk will have some kind of patch, update to be installed before playing this game.

Earlier last week, CD project Red announced that they are making mandatory work on the weekend, breaking its promise of not making mandatory crunch.

Cyberpunk 2077, was supposed to be released earlier this year in January which was again pushed to June. With the final release date quoted as November 19.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on both the current generations of Consoles PS4, Xbox One X, Xbox One S & Next Generation console. Not ignoring the fact that the game will be releasing on PC without any DRM.
